CONSTRUCTION UPDATE, Week of March 24 - 2008:
It's beginning to look a lot like a building! We've got walls, we've got floors, we've got stairs, and in the next month we'll have a roof and windows. Watching the tilt-wall construction was amazing and exciting, and students and staff alike continue to be impressed by the work being done on our high school facility. We've begun the equipment and furniture ordering process, and expect the high school building to be open for the start of the 2008-2009 school year.
Design work on Phase II is almost complete, and we're preparing for our transition at the end of May to begin the demolition and construction of several buildings housing postsecondary programs; the majority of that work will be complete by August 2009.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE, Week of November 19 - 2007:
On Tuesday, November 20, the contractors are scheduled to begin installing the pilings that will provide for a secure foundation for the high school building. This involves drilling holes in multiple locations, and then installing the pilings themselves. We're told that this is likely to be the noisiest, most vibration-causing work during this phase of construction! If you've not made it to the east side of campus, we encourage you to take a look - they've moved so quickly with early work, that you likely won't recognize our former east parking lot!
