
In an effort to acquaint Collier County parents with the opportunities for career training available for their graduating seniors, Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology (LWIT) is hosting a free spaghetti dinner in the cafeteria on its campus at 3702 Estey Avenue (off Airport Road) on April 14, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Those seniors and parents who attend will be introduced to all the various career paths for which training is available at LWIT. These courses include: Child Care, Practical Nursing, Culinary Arts, Fire Fighting, Dental Assisting, Marine Mechanics, Computer Technology, Massage Therapy, Cosmetology, Aviation Mechanics, Business Technology, Surgical Technology, Medical Assisting, Automotive Technology and more.
